On the occasion of the recent inspection to validate once again the certificate of Clean Beaches in Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, staff participated in cleaning crews for several days. When the government inspector arrived to the hotel, everything was set for accreditation.
On April 11th unofficially said that the beach could be considered ratified with this Certificate of SEMARNAT (Mexican Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources).

Once again the Chalk Festival and gourmet expo returns to the Riviera Nayarit, where professional artists will use different urban art techniques to create a visual delight for each spectator. The event is scheduled in Bucerias from the 19th to the 21st of January, between Benito Juarez and Galeana.
The artists will participate with creations based on the theme “Los Niños de Nayarit” (The children of Nayarit), competing for cash prizes. On the 21st, a workshop will be offered for 150 children.
On par with this art exposition, Jazz performer Armi will play, and attendees will enjoy special appetizers and dishes prepared by local restaurants in the area. As if that weren’t enough, local artisans will also present their work. Bucerias Craft Club and Bucerias Chalk Art Walk are the organizers of this event.

Shrimp Stuffed Mahi Mahi over fried risotto with smoked tomato sauce
Serves 4
Fried risotto: Combine all ingredients in a pan except panko. Cook until blended. Allow to cool and shape into patties. Cover with panko and fry in olive oil right before serving. Smoked tomato sauce: Warm oil to smoking point, add sauce and rosemary, cook over low heat. Mahi mahi: Season fish with salt and pepper, stuff with shrimp. Wrap with ham and sear in pan. De acuerdo a las publicaciones más recientes de TripAdvisor, Casa Velas, es el hotel No. 1 de Puerto Vallarta, esto de acuerdo al puntaje obtenido que las críticas de sus huéspedes le han concedido en el mes de Octubre.
Tripadvisor es una importante red on line que cuenta con más de 9 millones de usuarios registrados alrededor del mundo. A través de este medio, los viajeros dan a conocer sus críticas y recomendaciones acerca de sus experiencias en distintos hoteles calificando los aspectos positivos y negativos que encontraron en el servicio, la atención, instalaciones y demás elementos. De manera que de acuerdo a estas calificaciones, cada hotel va posicionándose con base al promedio de los resultados obtenidos.
