Vallarta Botanical Gardens is a major addition to the lure of PV. Over 20 acres near El Tuito, easy to reach by an El Tuito bus from V. Carranza at Aguacate, 15 pesos. Te restaurant serves up wonderful food, esp. the wood oven pizzas and big salads. Hike down to the river, wade, dip, take pix. Flowers everywhere and they are growing hillsides of blue agave for tequila on down the road. Lovely gift shop with jewelry, coffee, books, etc. Nonprofit so your pesos go to pay the large staff with all their watering and planting. Add a visit to your lost. I go everyime I settle in SouthSide.
